Ok. Here we go. Jake went "weeee write battlereport", so here i go.
I`m not playing EVE much for last few months. I`m not playing wow atm (because blizzard sucks with service), and i wasnt actively played eve, because well, to be honest, RAT directors was doing much better job than tired old monkey in ruling corp and alliance :P However, when RAT newbie !!!11 Jake Noble aproached me with this idea - it got me intrested. Basicly, Tau Ceti Federation went too ****y with their titan fleet. I guess all titan pilots know this feeling : "Hahahahah, newbs, i will devastate you with 1 button". Unfortunatelly for TCF - they got too predictable with it.
Being honest, we were planned this more than 2 month ago (ON BBQ in 2006 !). But then, when we kept our caps on pos in immensea, TCF decided not to swallow our bait. So now - we had to adjust our plan. We (as aAa) had 2 key persons during this operation. First = me, @ assembling operation, and getting people in place. Second = Jake, for getting in contact with our bait guys - G00dfellas, and coordinating this operation with our juicy bait !
Initial plan was following.
1. Get all capitals within titans, so they can jump via jump bridge, and then jump to system destination, thus masking our intentions.
2. Get G00dfellas guys to bait TCF titan(s).
3. Get titans tackled.
4. Log in RAT. fleet of HIC's logged out in nearest system. (Its RAT. guys, cmon ! we cant do anything without loging trap !).
5. KEEEEEEL !
Some steps of those plan didnt worked well. Such as :
- Titan went down so fast, that lots of people didnt managed to jump in.
- One of our titan pilots crashed, thus was unable to create bridge -> lots of ppl didnt get to killmails.
- Most our HICs didnt made it to titan. Yes, they were unable to log in, and get 2 jumps done. I repeat, it went down that fast :)
To be honest, i`m happy, and sad at the same time. Happy, because i helped guys to perform awesome operation, killing most big, bad ship ingame. Sad - because well. There is nothing more to do for me ! ;)
